Author, Diane Beruldsen, has played, promoted and organized WFF for the past 20 years. She has founded the Brooklyn Women's FFL, New York WFFL, Key West WFFL, the KWWFFL/Flag-A-Tag International Kickoff which is the largest WFF tournament in the US and Canada, the National Women's Flag Football Association and the International Women's Flag Football Association. She has traveled to Europe and started interest and teams in: Norway, Amsterdam and Denmark. In November of '98 she has been invited to speak to the annual forum of the Scandinavian Sports Council to address promoting the sport in those countries for girls and women. Often called: "Ms. Football", she is currently traveling the country educating and instructing girls and women through clinics for flag football. Diane vows never to stop until the sport becomes professional for women. "This is our way of planting the seed for a stronger female in our society. It is not important who wins or loses.... but who plays/has played and experienced the sport and gained all of it's benefits!"
