Our IWFFA playbook for beginners.......... ![]() |
|
Our play book for beginners is designed to enhance and support our IWFFA trainings, but also can be used for any beginner, who has not participated in our trainings.
Flag Football can be considered the woman’s game / version of the men’s tackle football. Flag Football allows for greater finesse, strategy and a different style of play, which should be encouraged to develop the woman’s style of play.
Tackle is tackle, and Flag Football is Flag Football. They are two similar, but very different sports.
We include here the very basics, which can be built upon. There are many ways to do anything, and our drills, plays and practices are only suggestions. We encourage our readers to be thoughtful and to create their own style of play, strategy and play book.
And most important remember that winning isn’t everything….. it is the journey that takes you where you go, which is most important. Points cannot measure that journey, only the individual can.
