Welcome to our Scandinavian Promotional Tour

May - June, 2007

 Description

The IWFFA had introduced the sport of flag football in Scandinavia in 1997 and has continued it's promotions since, in the Nordic Region

For 2007, IWFFA travels to Scandinavia for two months, May and June, to offer trainings and start new teams in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

(See list below where trainings are scheduled)

.

How You Can Get Involved (either as a team, or individual player)

We continue to add and organize flag football trainings in cities during May and June, and so, if you are interested in having us come to your town, email us at iwffa@iwffa.com (but if you do not get a quick response from email - as we are in the middle of our travels), then / or phone Katti + 46 (0) 7 35 26 17 29. This is your chance to get involved........ now!

Benefits of Participating in our Trainings

These trainings are free!

New teams will be supplied with equipment for them to keep

New teams and Loose Women (individual players) will be invited to play in our tournaments: Hjorring, Denmark May 26 – 27 and Oslo, Norway June 16 – 17th

It is a chance to begin with a brand new team, all who will be new players of the sport, so everyone will be on the same level - beginners

These trainings are fun, informative, and explain thoroughly why you do what on the field. You will have a good sense of the philosophy of the sport and learn new skills which you can transfer to other sports you play to make you stonger.

Our Trainers

The top trainer of the IWFFA, Diane Beruldsen, has traveled from the United States and will run the trainings. She has been playing the sport for 28 years, has coached for over 23 years, been a physical education instructor, taught in schools, trained larges groups of over 60 participants, officiates and instructs officials and has organized and founded the International Women's Flag Football Association. Diane believes women should run and control their own sport and encourages any female the opportunity to get involved either as a : player, official, coach, manager or fan.

Katti Hansson, originally from Jønkøping, and Katta Sterner, originally from Karlstad, who both reside in Gøteborg, Sweden are part of the promotional team who travels, trains, makes contacts, recruits and brings their fresh, young energies to the tour.
